RTB AWARD NOMINATIONS - 2011

Hello RTB Members,

It is that time of year again to start thinking about your outstanding employees and then NOMINATE them for an award. The award categories are below. Please go online and fill out the forms, or feel free to fax them to me at 269.623.8075 or email them to andrea_gay@andersonsinc.com. All nominations must be turned in to me by December 31, 2011.

AWARD CATEGORIES:
Rookie of the Year – Placque and $100.
Allentowns Managers Award – Plaque and $250
Bio-Serv Enhancement or Improvement of Animal Welfare Award – Plaque and $250
Supervisor Technician of the Year Award – Plaque and $250
Research Technician Award – Plaque and $250
Purina Prolab Award – Plaque and $100 and another $50 to AALAS Foundation
Education Committee
Charles River President Award – Plaque and $500
Clayton Cisar Memorial Award – Plaque

It is so important to nominate your deserving employees. Please start thinking about who is deserving on your team and fill out the forms! Only condition is they are a member of RTB AALAS – so nominate away!

Research Triangle Branch-American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (RTB-AALAS) is the local branch of AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational association, dedicated to advancing and disseminating knowledge about the responsible care and use of laboratory animals for the benefit of human and animal health.

RTB-AALAS draws from an area with diverse and expansive opportunities in research, technology and development. The Research Triangle Park has been rated #3 nationally in technology and development. There are 309 members, including technicians, vendors, veterinarians, and investigators. The RTB-AALAS sponsors a number of activities including technician night, an award's banquet, and educational opportunities. Quarterly meetings begin with a business meeting and refreshments, followed by a speaker presentation. Come join RTB-AALAS! It is a fun way to get to know your peers in North Carolina.
